Imaginative stories are what the holiday's are all about. Fanciful ruminations of reindeer going "click, click, click" on your rooftop and all of the little girls and boys of the world sleeping quiet as mice, dreaming of their rotund pal Santa whooshing town their chimney and eating the cookies and milk they've left for him (and if you were like me and my sister, a few carrots for Rudolph and friends). It was this whimsical element of the holiday season that Saks embraced, taking us on a journey into the mind of a child, whose fantasies are believably child-like, traveling to the circus and the sea, but whose taste is quite elevated, opting to dress her dream-figures in Lanvin and Dior rather than Osh-Kosh-B'-gosh (thank goodness!). Each window follows the pink-haired-adventurer-darling to each of her imagined worlds, all filled to the brim with exquisite loot and artistic flair. Definitely something to get lost in this season!
