When it comes to holiday window displays, it's almost unfair to include Bergdorf's in the same category as everyone else. They are sort of the Serena & Venus Williams' of tennis to the retail world and this year they've done it again. The displays are so ornate they almost feel like a seek and find, am uber-glamorous seek and find that is. The theme for this years windows was "Wish You Were Here" a wonderful sentiment that rouses tunes like "I'll be Home For Christmas" and reminds you of the glorious manner in which holidays, stressful and expensive as they may be, bring people together. Corny? Oh sure, yes, fine. Fabulous? Even more so! Each window chronicles a different mode of transport, be it a buggy, train or space ship, all heading to and from different fantastical locales! Worthy of being stared at endlessly, Berdorf's wins again with the creative artistry that sets them apart from all other retailers! Bon Voyage!
